The first step is to install the 22" metal in-ground base. Using a rubber mallet, drive the metal base into the ground until an inch or two is still visible just above the ground. If using a metal hammer, place a block of wood or other solid durable item on top of the base so hammering doesn’t damage the top of the base. Sharp edges on the top of the metal base can tear the Valentino Pet Paws and compromise the toy. If the ground is soft , we recommend putting it in 22’’. Once the metal base is in the ground, simply insert the toy into the base. The toy is now ready for play.The pole slides into and out of the base to allow for mowing and stowing when playtime is over. We recommend the base be installed deep into the ground to allow the mower to drive over it

We have had extra large 150lbs dogs play with the toy without any problems. While we can’t guarantee that Valentino Pet Paws will withstand the play of every dog, we do stand by our product. Our poles are extra thick with a lot of flexibility and the ropes, balls, and tires are very durable and have been tested with over 100 dogs. If you purchase the toy from our website and it breaks quickly, we will replace or refund your purchase.

First, congratulations on the new family member if you have a puppy! Our size is one size fits all, we have a patent pending adjustable ring that circles the entire pole and can be lowered or raised with stoppers. We have ropes for small, medium, and large size dogs. Please select what size is your furry baby and we will include the proper size rope, ball, and tire.  Pups that grow so fast and a medium or large breed puppy will outgrow small very quickly, we suggest getting a small rope and ball for puppies and a large rope because of their rapid growth.
